Green Tea for Natural Hair

Hey loves! I've just read this article via Twitter about rinsing your hair with Green Tea. What??? I mean I love to drink it in the morning but I mean, I can put it in my hair too??? WIN! It is super cheap and I always have it on handy so it is good for my hair budget (lol) ;-)

Benefits of rinsing your hair with tea? Stimulates growth and reduces shedding. The caffeine in the tea stimulates the follicles. Growth comes with time so I am not interested with anything that helps speed up the process. That is not a concern of mine. It's normal to lose around 100 strands a day (so I've read) but if I can cut that down in half and stop clogging up my drains, I am all for it!

The different teas you can use are Black, Green, Rosemary, and Chamomile. People use it different ways. The best way I have found is to co-wash your hair then rinse with the tea as the last step in your wash routine. Maybe I will give this a try.

What are your thoughts? Experiences?
